How to measure your feet for the replica boot

  1. Put the socks on that you intend to wear with the boots.
  2. Sit down and place your feet on the floor.
  3. Have another person outline your foot (see illustration A). Please do not trace your own foot because as you bend to draw, you will put weight on your feet and change the size.
  4. Do not lean over and watch as the person outlines your feet.  By doing so, you will move your legs and put excessive weight on your feet.
  5. Use a soft lead pencil (NOT a pen) so markings will be black and clear.
  6. Trace one single line around the foot holding the pencil straight up and down at all times. Do not tip the pencil under the foot at any point. You will want to pay particular attention to this when tracing around the heel and instep.

Instructions for measuring your feet

Work in a sitting position wearing the socks you will wear with your boots.  For accurate measurements, cross your knees and have SOMEONE ELSE  measure the foot that has NO WEIGHT  on it and reverse to the other foot.  measure all the way around holding the tape snug but not tight.

 

Measuring ball of foot:

  1. Measure all the way around over big toe and little toe joints at an angle to get the widest part (see illustration).
  2. Make a mark on the foot tracing exactly where the tape is placed (see Illustration 2A).
  3. Record the circumference measurement (the number of inches around the foot). This is extremely important.


 

The instep of foot:

  1. Measure all the way around in front of side bone and over instep bone on top of foot.
  2. Mark on the foot tracing exactly where the tape is placed (see Illustration 3A).
  3. Record the circumference measurement (the number of inches around the foot). This is extremely important.


 

The base of your heel:

  1. Measure all the way around base of the heel and where the foot bends.
  2. Record the circumference measurement (the number of inches around the foot). This is extremely important.

 

 

The midpoint or largest part of calf and length of boot top:

  1. Measure all the way around the largest part of the calf.
  2. Record the circumference measurement (the number of inches around the calf). This is extremely important.
  3. Measure al the way around the leg at height of boot top desired.
  4. Now measure from boot top to floor. Record the measurement.
