Way Back When...I was born and raised in rural Montana. I worked every day after school from the time I was 12 years old but my evenings got exciting after we got our first TV. We were living in an era where Westerns were on TV every night. Everything was black and white movies or half hour programs it seems. Shows that I watched were "Paladin","Rawhide", "Gunsmoke", "Wanted Dead or Alive" and the "Rifleman". I was especially interested in fast draw and the way they handled their guns. Through the years my fascination of gun handling and fast draw kept growing. When I bought my first Colt .45, I started practicing drawing from a holster and playing around with fast draw. Then...along came the spaghetti western movies produced by Sergio Leone starring Clint Eastwood that I especially liked. I watched and rewatched the three- "A Fistful of Dollars", "For a Few Dollars More", and "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly". Eastwood's role in these spaghetti westerns is actually the inspiration for this site. I liked the costumes he wore in them, his gun holster and hat. I tried finding someone who made the holster or who would custom make it for me. Over a 10 year period, I found 3 people to make copies, but they weren't as "authentic" as I wanted. I was also disappointed in the quality of their work. Then I wanted a vest like Eastwood wore. No one made it and it was quite a feat finding someone who would custom make it for me. The hat and hatband was no exception. I searched for over 10 years for a poncho like he wore and even had a couple people attempt to make me one, but again, their efforts weren't "authentic" looking like I wanted. Now I am happy to say that you, the fans of Clint Eastwood and the Spaghetti Westerns, have the replicas offered to you in heirloom quality merchandise. Now...I'm involved in the sport of fast draw and LOVE it! This past few years I've had many people question "where" did I find my authentic looking garb. This is the WHY for this site. It doesn't have to be that hard anymore. We have it available right here. Heirloom quality merchandise and good prices. My wife, Diana, was also born and raised in Montana. She is using her sewing skills, handling the phone and e-mails, and processing orders as her part of the business. We have two grown children who have blessed us with six grandchildren. Our daughter and her husband had a set of identical twin boys and 3 years later gained another son. Then a couple years after that they added their daughter. Their whole family was involved with the sport of fast draw and all got quite skilled at the sport. Our son and his wife had their daughter first then added a son a few years later. We were very fortunate to live in the same town as our children and grandkids so we get to spend lots of time around them. We are truly blessed. If we had known grandchildren were this much fun, we probably would have had them first!! We want to thank you for taking the time to visit our site and we hope you come back often. If we can be of any help, let us know by calling or e-mailing us. Please check out some Customer Comments
